چکیده

In this article, we provide a simple geometric proof of the following fact: The existence transitive normalized maps induced by linear operators is possible only when underlying space's real dimension either 1 or 2 infinity. A similar result holds for projective transformation as well.

Topological Transitivity and Strong Transitivity

We discuss the relation between (topological) transitivity and strong transitivity of dynamical systems. We show that a transitive and open self-map of a compact metric space satisfying a certain expanding condition is strongly transitive. We also prove a couple of results for interval maps; for example it is shown that a transitive piecewise monotone interval map is strongly transitive.

Completely Positive Maps Induced by Composition Operators

We consider the completely positive map on the Toeplitz operator system given by conjugation by a composition operator; that is, we analyze operators of the form C∗ φTfCφ We prove that every such operator is weakly asymptotically Toeplitz, and compute its asymptotic symbol in terms of the Aleksandrov-Clark measures for φ. When φ is an inner function, this operator is Toeplitz, and we show under...

Surface Deformation by Normalized Operators

In order to get an optimal use of all the interesting features for free-form mod-eling provided by sophisticated geometric models (Bezier, B-Spline, NURBS), we propose a deformation technique based on the concept of normalized operators. Such an operator can be viewed as a black-box which encloses | and hides to the user | the high number and the complexity of the parameters involved during a d...
